Polar Laser Laboratories develops and manufacturers short-pulse fiber lasers for applications in precision micromachining and optical instrumentation. Our lasers are compact, robust and economical, thanks to the all-fiber construction without any free-space optic elements. Our technology advantage is based on the use of our proprietary technologies of specialty gain fibers, optical pumping and thermal management. We currently offer competitively priced fiber lasers at 1 micrometer and 1.5 micrometer wavelengths, with pulse duration from 35 picoseconds to 1 nanosecond, average power up to 10 W, and peak pulse power up to 500 kW, as well as stand-alone low-power, modulated, fiber-pigtailed diode lasers for seeding high-power fiber amplifier chains.
